From the time I contacted him he was extremely pleasant, wanted to know what we were seeking and he tailored our tours to match our specific interests. He is an extremely knowledgeable local , courteous, his English is great and he made us feel comfortable and safe. He has a great sense of humor and we felt like he was part of our family! He also took many pictures of us, our personal photographer! As we drove through the city, he shared fascinating historical stories about the buildings, neighborhoods, and iconic landmarks we passed by. We felt like we were seeing the city through the eyes of a true local.Throughout the tour, Kadu was attentive and considerate, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. He is super professional, speaks English very well and provided really good tips for the rest of our stay. During the tour Kadu knew many spots that only locals could take you and was great to see the city from a local's perspective! Also, Kadu was very knowledgeable on the city's history, culture and tips to avoid crowds and get the best views. He was also super flexible in adapting and changing the program based on our needs. Our tour with Kadu was just excellent and more beautiful, informative, interesting and fun than we ever could have expected. Kadu took us to many places, has an incredible knowledge and a great sense of humour. We really saw a lot of Rio during this full-day tour but never had a stressful minute. There are 2 things that come to mind when visiting a new country; 1) Having a sense of comfortability so you can enjoy the moment instead of worrying. 2) Making a connection with a local who knows their way around.Kadu Bueno is, hands down, the whole package. The first moment of him picking us up from the airport, to guiding us up the Sugar Loaf mountain. Leading our adventure to the famous Cristo Redentor or just strolling the avenue on Rio's Beach watching the sunset. He wasn't just a guide to us, he was so much more. In the end, he became our friend. Reassuring us that Rio De Janeiro is a safe, wonderful place to see. He showed his country to us with such passion. Almost, like he was proud of where he lives as he should be! The BEST thing, by far, was his ability to guide us through the "Fast Pass" line. That's what you get when you connect with Kadu. Anyone can start a tour in their own city but not everyone would have the heart behind it like Kadu does. I give my highest recommendation to him as he seeks out the best for the group he takes on. Rio is big, spread out, and you really have to know the places to be able to pull out such an incredible day he has put together for me.
